The objection is made that a flower
bursts with beauty
although no one may see it.
But I will object in my turn
that a flower blushes with pleasure
when someone contemplates it
admiringly.
And I believe that a woman
becomes more beautiful and radiant
if someone truly believing tells her
what was a shimmering
in a mirror.
Return for that reason,
small secret flower, return
to show me your human face.
And so, our song will be
the more beautiful
